Bruce Lynn Edwards, 52, a resident of Sulphur, passed away on November 8, 2014 in a local hospital. He was born in Lubbock, Texas on August 15, 1962 to James Edwards and Barbara Greening Edwards.
Bruce was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He had a larger than life personality and loved making people laugh and bringing people together with his music. He was an electrician for much of his life and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Bruce is predeceased by his parents James and Barbara.
Bruce leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Barbara Jane Gallup and husband David of San Antonio, three sons; Carey James Edwards of Sulphur, Randall Scott Edwards and wife Fallon of Sulphur, and Dacey Edwards and companion Brittany of Sulphur. He also leaves behind two brothers Kelly Edwards and Casey Edwards and his wife Allison, a host of nieces and nephews, and numerous friends he has made over his life.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will held privately by his family. Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
